Shah Rukh and Gauri were into each other since from their college days. And even though Shahrukh climb the stairs of success his love for Gauri was still the same. From childhood sweethearts to Bollywood’s favorite power couple they ultimately nailed it.
But not everyone knows that just like other love stories Sharukh and Gauri’s love journey also faced lots of obstacles. Before they could get married. According to journalist Anupama Chopra, who revealed about Shaharukh’s love life said: Before tying the knot with Gauri. Shahrukh was already an established actor. As he gained lots of popularity from the show Fauji. However, Gauri’s father, Ramesh Chibba, objected to Shah Rukh’s acting career. Not just father but Gauri’s mother Savita Chibba also didn’t want to see him as a son-in-law. But on the other side loved to watch him on the screen.
Apart from parents, the next one to object to Shahrukh was her brother Vikrant who was not too happy with her choice of the partner either. In those days her brother was famous as a thug. And also scared him with a gun. But in spite of all this nothing could change his love for her. And they finally got married on 25 October 1991. Today Gauri has turned 50 and celebrated her birthday with her husband Sharukh and her kids Suhana, AbRam, and Aryan.
