Akshay’s film Bellbottom is scheduled to go on floors in August in the UK. The actor took to his twitter handle to make the announcement.
Film Bellbottom starring Akshay Kumar will be the first film to commence shooting after the months-long lockdown. Since the time lockdown was implemented. The shooting of films remained closed for about four and a half months. All the artists and technicians were imprisoned in the houses. But now there is good news for fans. The shooting of the films will start soon. And the first film to resume shooting post lockdown will be Akshay’s film Bellbottom.
Bollywood’s lockdown will end with Akshay Kumar’s Bellbottom. The actor took to twitter handle and revealed that the shooting of his film will start in August. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari and written by Aseem Arora & Parveez Shaikh, the schedule of the movie is set to begin from August. Along with Akshay, the film will feature Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor.
Akshay sharing a photo with the main star cast of Bellbottom wrote- We are going to start the work we do best. The time has come to return to work. Bellbottom is scheduled to go on floors from next month.
Plot of the film
Talking about the film further, the first schedule of the film will be shot in the UK. The film is slated for release on 2 April next year. Bellbottom is basically a spy thriller film set of the eighties. Its story is inspired by true events. Akshay will appear in a detective role. In November last year, Akshay reported the film by releasing its first look. Bellbottom is produced by Nikhil Advani along with Vashu and Jackie Bhagnani. For this role, Akshay will be seen in the 80s era look and getup. The schedule of Akshay Kumar’s films has deteriorated this year due to the coronavirus epidemic. But now the shooting of the film will commence soon.
Earlier in June, the Maharastra Government announced to resume film and television shooting as a part of the relaxations. But the Cultural Affairs ministry said that producers will have to conduct pre-production and post-production works with some guidelines laid down by the government.
