Actors Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti starrer 2020 crime spine-chiller web series Asur will return with its 2nd season.
The 1st season of this mythological web drama got a huge response from the audience along with pundits. It comprises eight astounding episodes with a run-season of 34-63 minutes and became one of the top-rated web series with an IMDb rating of 8.5/10. The success of the 1st season made the producers of the series come back again with some new twists of methodology and forensic science in another thrilling season of the series.
Asur Season 2 OTT Release Date
The release date of this eagerly awaited series has not been uncovered at this point, as of late the main lead Arshad Warsi gave an update about the series. The actor said that Asur 2 will release soon.
The actor gave the update in reply to a tweet from a Twitter user, who asked Arshad how much longer we should hang tight for Asur 2. To which he answered “Not long, I Promise.”

The filming of the series started on July 13, 2021, and was wrapped up in January 2022.

The series will feature Arshad Warsi, who made his OTT debut with the series, will repeat his role as Dhananjay Rajpoot otherwise known as DJ and famous TV actor Barun Sobti will likewise be back in his character as Nikhil Nair.
