The Indian government has once again taken a major action against China by banning 118 Chinese apps. The name of PUBG is also included in this list. Apart from PUBG, the list also includes names like Game of Sultans, Applock, CamOCR and VPN for TikTok. As soon as the Indian government decided to ban PUBG, it started trending on Twitter.

On social media too, people responded fiercely to this. Let us tell you that PUBG is an online video game which has millions of fans in India. After its ban, people gave their reactions in different ways. Many types of funny memes related to this are becoming viral on social media.

This has proved to be a better news for Indian parents, as they have been waiting for a similar decision for months. At the same time, children and youngsters are shocked to hear this news and are also disappointed.

While some parents complained about the hugely popular video game affecting their children’s learning, many families said that their children have become addicted to the game. Not only this, there were also reports that children were so attracted to the game that they got addicted to it, which increased the concern of parents and teachers about their mental health.

The Indian government has also banned mobile apps like Livik, WeChat Work and WeChat Reading, Applock, Carrom Friends, citing national security. Earlier, India banned several Chinese apps including the short video sharing app TikTock. The action comes after fresh attempts of Chinese incursion into Indian territory in Pangong Tso in eastern Ladakh.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said in a statement, ‘This step will protect the interests of crores of Indian mobile and Internet users. This decision is a targeted step to ensure the security and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace. ‘
