Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut with the film Dhadak, the Hindi remake of Marathi film Sairat. The young sensation is now set to make her big South debut opposite Vijay Deverakonda.
Bollywood actress Jahnavi Kapoor is in the discussion about many of her upcoming projects. Jahnavi has several projects in hand after making his Bollywood debut with the film Dhadak in the year 2018. According to the latest reports, now Jahnavi will also be seen in South Cinema and can be seen sharing the screen with Vijay Devarkonda, the superstar of South Indian cinema.
According to the information, the film is tentatively titled, as Fighter and Jahnavi Kapoor and Vijay Devarkonda can be seen romancing in this film. It is said that Jahnavi had earlier wanted to work with South Star Vijay and now it is believed that her wish is going to be fulfilled soon. However, the news is also that Jahnavi was not the first choice of filmmakers for this film. Earlier, actress Kiara Advani and Alia Bhatt were approached for the film, but the deal with both actresses could not be finalized. However, Karan Johar was instrumental in getting Janhvi Kapoor onboard. As per the news, filmmaker Karan Johar suggested the name of Jahnavi Kapoor to director Puri Jagannadh. But currently, quite a lot of official information about the film is yet to be revealed.
Talking about Jahnavi’s work front, Jahnavi started her career with Dhadak and after that, she will be seen in Gunjan Saxena’s biopic. Apart from this, Jahnavi will also appear in other upcoming projects that are still under discussion. The shooting of the film Fighter is expected to go on floors in January 2020.
