KANGANA RANAUT WINS PADMA SHRI AWARD: The Government of India announced the Padma Awards before Republic Day, which included the names of four veterans of the film industry. The Padma Shri awardees are Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar, Adnan Sami, and Ekta Kapoor. Kangana expressed her gratitude from the video after they announced the awards. Nina Gupta also congratulated these artists on getting the honor.
Kangana Ranaut’s film journey has been inspiring. Coming to Mumbai from a small area of Himachal, she achieved a high position on her own. Apart from Kangana, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar, Adnan Sami, Suresh Wadkar and Sarita Joshi have also received Padma Awards.

Kangana said- “I dedicate the Padma Shri award to every mother and daughter of the country. I would like to thank my country, who gave me this honor. I dedicate this award to every woman, who dares to fulfill dreams. This award is for every daughter, mother, and woman who helps to make this country better.”
They have awarded Kangana the National Award thrice for movies Fashion, Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Her performance for the recent release Panga is also being discussed. She is playing the lead character in Jayalalithaa’s biopic Thalai. She has signed a film under the banner of Ronnie Screwvala, in which we will see her in the role of a pilot.
Sources in Delhi said that Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar were also ahead in the race for Padma Shree, but the name of Kangana Ranaut finally stamped.
