    Malayalam actor Anil Murali passed away at 56

    Malayalam actor Anil Murali, who was popular for his roles as a villain. Passed away at 56 on Thursday at a private hospital in Kochi.

    Malayalam actor Anil Murali, at the age of 56 passed away in Kochi on Thursday. The actor was quite popular for his role as a villain in many movies. He was admitted with liver ailments on July 22 and breathed last around 12.45 p.m at a private hospital. His demise has left actor Prithviraj Sukumuran and others in shock.

    Murali was born in Thiruvananthapuram and was survived by his wife Suma and children Adithya and Arundathi. He has acted in almost 200 films including Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The actor made his first debut through television serials. But later got a break after he got the opportunity to work in filmmaker Vinayan’s Kanyakumariyil Oru Kavitha in 1993. After that, he never looked back.

    He portrayed several varied characters. The actor was best known for his roles in movies like Lion, Balram vs Tharadas, Mahasamudram, Nerariyan CBI, July 4, Rock and Roll, Run Baby Run, Amen, Dolphin Bar, Ramaleela, Joseph, Nimirndhu Nil, Thani Oruvan, Kodi to name a few. His last film was Forensic, which was with Tovino Thomas. And was released earlier this year. After his demise, several actors took to social media to offer their condolences.
