Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde released a statement after the actress got bail, He said that justice has prevailed and the witch hunt is over now.
Actress Rhea Chakraborty who was arrested in a drug case by the NCB along with her brother Showik Chakraborty was granted bail on Wednesday, 7th October. The Bombay High Court granted bail to Rhea after she spent 28 days in Byculla Jail. Soon after Rhea’s bail, Maneshinde released a statement stating that justice has prevailed. And also explained how Rhea tried to keep her spirits high even during her time in jail.
Maneshinde talking about Rhea said that the actress fought the situation like a battle and said that she used to conduct yoga classes for herself and her jail inmates. Adding further he said ” I went to meet her in jail to see how she was holding up. Fortunately, Rhea was in good spirits. She adjusted herself in jail even though she was not getting home-cooked food there. And by conducting yoga she kept her spirits high and didn’t let herself demolish.
After Rhea was granted bail her lawyer Maneshinde spoke to the news channels and said that Sushant’s family was after her because of the reasons I am not aware of. Along with them the investigating agencies – ED, CBI, and NCB – have been after Rhea because she used to live in with Sushant. And topping it all media also got after her to gain TRP’s for their news channel. But now Rhea is granted bail and the truth has prevailed.
Although Rhea is released from jail the court imposed strict clauses on Rhea after granting her bail. It asked Rhea to submit a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and not to tamper with evidence while out on bail.
