Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji’s box office blockbuster “Bunty Aur Babli“, which was released in 2005, is getting a sequel and we hear that Saif Ali Khan will replace Abhishek for the lead role but Rani will still reprise the role that she played in the original Yash Raj Films project. According to the sources, earlier Saif had turned down the offer owing to his tight schedule but now he has given a nod to the film.
The Nawab of Pataudi, who has been looking for a super hit film at the box office after the film ‘Race 2’, has returned to Yash Raj Films. Saif Ali Khan, who started his career in 1993 from director Yash Chopra’s film ‘Parampara’, had earlier refused to work in the sequel of Yash Raj Films’ hit Bunty Aur Babli, but the film ‘Lal Kaptan’ which was a Superflop he agreed to be a part of this film sequel of “Bunty Aur Bubly”.
According to sources, Saif will pair with Rani Mukherjee in the film. Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji’s who have worked together in Yash Raj Films films like ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’ and ‘Chhoti Pyaar Choti Magic’, are the senior thugs in the sequel of ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ Is likely to be seen soon. In the film ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, Saif will be seen promoting Abhishek Bachchan’s character with Rani in this sequel. The sequel to ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, directed by Varun Sharma, and assistant director Ali Abbas Zafar, has a few more stars yet to be taken. Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who became famous by playing rapper MC Sher in the film ‘Gully Boy’, will be seen in the lead role in this film.
The interesting part of the film is that it will continue from where the earlier one ended.
