The video of the toddler from Bihar went viral on social media last week and Shah Rukh’s foundation was quick to trace the child and help him with some financial aid.
A heart-wrenching video of a small kid is making headlines on the cyberspace. It is the video of the child, who is trying to awake his dead mother at Bihar’s Muzaffarpur railway station. After the video went viral Shah Rukh’s Meer Foundation has come forward to help the child. When Shah Rukh Khan came to know about this he took to his twitter and said “Thank you all for getting us in touch with the little one. We all pray he finds the strength to deal with the most unfortunate loss of a parent. I know how it feels…Our love and support is with you baby.”
Also, Meer Foundation is thankful to all who helped us reach this child, whose heart-wrenching video of trying to wake his mother disturbed all. We are now supporting him and he is under his grandfather’s care,” the NGO posted on Twitter along with the picture of the baby and his brother sitting with their grandparents.
Let us tell you that Shah Rukh Khan lost his father when he was quite young. And it has been 30 years since his mother passed away. In an interview with David Letterman, Shah Rukh said that he had only one complaint from his parents that he did not spend much time with him. The actor has also been helping many others in need amid pandemic. Shah Rukh, through his other companies Kolkata Knight Writers, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Red Chillies VFX, is also continuously helping COVID 19 victims. Recently the actor also took the initiative to help the people affected by Amphan cyclone.
