The Income Tax Department raided the house of film actress Rashmika Mandana on Thursday. The raid came after rumors that she was the highest-paid actress in the South.
Rashmika Mandana has been rumored of being the most expensive actress. But she denied because she considers herself still a newbie in the industry. Income tax department on Thursday raided the house, of actress Rashmika Mandanna in Virajpet in Kodagu district of Karnataka. Currently, the actress is busy shooting for a film and not present at home, therefore the information on her investments are being collected from her father Madan Mandanna. Even the Serenity hall manager is also called to her house to collect information.
A team of Income Tax executives from Bengaluru reached his house at around 7.30 am. According to the report, there is no information about whether Rashmika was present in the house or not. But Income tax raided after rumors that Rashmika is the South’s highest-paid actress.
However, when asked about this, she denied it. Talking about this ‘she said that she is taking Baby Steps in films right now and she not the highest-grossing actress at all.’ In an interview with Pinkvilla, Rashmika said, ‘When people say that I make the most of the money for a film, then I feel shocked. Calling these reports as rumor Rashmika said I do not have any money in the bank. I am still a newcomer. ‘
