On 22nd March the whole country thanked the ‘Corona Warriors. Everyone applauded by clapping, thali, ringing the bell during the Janata curfew imposed amid fears of Coronavirus. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to the countrymen to clap for corona fighters on March 22. After PM Modi’s appeal, countrymen including Bollywood celebs clapped at 5 pm. Not only in India, but the impact was seen in America also. Many Bollywood celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar gave applause in India. Also, actress Priyanka Chopra followed PM Modi’s appeal in the US as well.
Right now Priyanka Chopra is in the US but she followed the appeal of PM Modi in America. She came out of the house and gave applauded for corona fighters. Priyanka also shared her video on her Instagram story, in which she is seen giving applause. She has also written a caption – ‘People all over the world are clapping in the balcony of the doctors, nurses, and people fighting Corona. I could not join those people in India, but my feelings are with them. For this people are praising Priyanka Chopra for her work since she followed PM Modi’s appeal even though she is not in India.
Apart from Priyanka Chopra, many celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Kriti Sanon, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Kapil Sharma, Jahnavi Kapoor, Priti Zinta gave applaud. They came out of the house at 5 pm on Sunday evening. and applauded in the balcony. At the same time, talking about the condition of coronavirus in India, the cases are increasing. So far the number of coronavirus victims in India has increased to 415 and it is increasing continuously. Due to this, many cities have been locked down due to Corona.
