Women’s stories have always been a fulfilling watch. Not merely films but these have been helmed by coveted women filmmakers, precisely women telling women’s stories. There are tons of other female-centric ones directed by female filmmakers that are just as great. From The Edge of Seventeen to Portrait of a Lady on Fire, here are this week’s recommendation to bring watch stories that showcase instances, life events, and experiences.
‘The Edge of Seventeen’ (2016)
Kelly Fremon’s most realistic teen pictures out there, Craig’s story of adolescence with Hailee Steinfeld (who gives one of her best performances) has many young ladies relating to Nadine’s awful high school experience.
‘American Honey’ (2016)
