The 17th season of Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s popular reality series Bigg Boss is about to premiere. The big premiere of the programme is scheduled on Sunday, October 15.
Prior to the programme, the competitor list is seldom revealed, but as usual, the internet is buzzing with rumours about the celebrities that could compete in Bigg Boss 17.
Munawar Faruqui
Munawar allegedly received approaches for Bigg Boss 16 after winning Kangana Ranaut’s reality series Lock Upp last year, but it never materialised. Once again, according to rumours, he will probably take part in the concert this year.
Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain
For many years, Hindi TV viewers’ favourite celebrities had included the name of actor Ankita Lokhande. In addition to her role in Pavitra Rishta, she has appeared in films like Manikarnika and received acclaim from critics and viewers alike. She is also being mentioned as a potential contestant for Bigg Boss 17.
Jigna Vora
The story of journalist Jigna Vora, who was imprisoned for allegedly conspiring to kill a prominent journalist, was recently brought to light by the Netflix release of Hansal Mehta’s Scoop. According to a rumour in the Indian Express, Jigna would participate in Bigg Boss 17 as a competitor.
Mannara Chopra
Manasvi, a model and winner of Femina Miss India World 2010, made her acting debut as the antagonist in Prabhu Dheva’s Action Jackson. She’s been in several music videos. She recently appeared in Kajol’s online series The Trial and took home the prize on The Price Is Right in America.
Manasvi Mamgai
Mannara Chopra, Priyanka Chopra’s cousin, is also speculated to be performing on the Salman Khan programme this year. Mannara has appeared in a few Tamil and Telugu films, such as Thikka and Rogue, in addition to working on the Bollywood film Zid.
Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt
Actress Aishwarya Sharma, who was most recently seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi, is reportedly preparing to compete on Bigg Boss 17 alongside her husband, actor Neil Bhatt. He has contributed to programmes like Smart Jodi and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
Along with the aforementioned celebrities, the show is also reportedly considering Armaan Malik, Kanwar Dhillon, Isha Malviya, Kirti Mehra, ex-girlfriend of Elvish Yadav, Tiktoker Faiz Baloch, Jay Soni, Sandip Sikcand, and YouTube stars UK Rider and Tehelka Prank’s Sunny Arya.
