According to the report, the research and findings conducted were based on factors such as economy, education and health. It would have been manageable if Nigeria had made it to the list but not at the top instead of being mentioned. In fact, you will be more surprised to know the number one country on this list.

The country is known for large-scale deposits and production of gold. Posting a relatively high per capita gross domestic product (GDP) of $ 15,176, Botswana also performed well in terms of governance, education and personal freedom. As the country spends 8% of its GDP on education, it is among the world’s largest proportionate spenders according to the World Bank. This is the third consecutive year that Botswana has topped the index.
