Finally, the nine-year feud is ended. Bollywood actor Salman Khan released the first tease of his new song from Tiger 3 on Thursday, October 19.For the first time in their lives, singer Arijit Singh is playing playback for Salman Khan in this song, which makes it unique. Salman Khan and Singh, the leading playback singer in India, have a history of animosity. Recently, there have been rumours circulating that the two had forgotten their prior disagreements. Salman reaffirmed on Thursday that everything is OK between the well-known musician and himself.
A poster for Tiger 3’s opening song was shared by Khan on social media. While both he and Katrina Kaif, who plays Zoya in the movie, have amazing looks, the caption in this case steals the attention.
Salman Khan penned down, “Pehle gaane ki pehli jhalak. LekePrabhuKaNaam! Oh haan, yeh hai Arijit Singh ka pehla gaana mere liye. (First glimpse of first song. Leke Prabhu Ka Naam. The reports of a patch-up began to circulate when Arijit was recently photographed leaving Salman Khan’s house.An incident during an award reception in 2014 caused Salman Khan and Arijit Singh’s friendship to deteriorate. Salman served as the event’s host.
As Arijit entered the stage to accept an award, clad in casual clothing and flip-flops, Salman jokingly questioned, “So gaye the (Were you sleeping)?” To this the singer responded, “Aap logon ne sula diya (You all put me to sleep).”
Following this, Salman’s films, Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, no longer featured any of Arjit Singh’s songs. In 2016, Singh also issued a public apology to Salman Khan, asking him to keep his rendition of the song in Sultan. Khan, however, was unyielding, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sang the song in its place.
