A man named Thomas Barnes claimed that he received a bill for $70 for the x-rated films. He said it all happened when his dog ‘accidentally’ ordered the porn. Thomas hit back at a US satellite provider through which he received the bill. Barnes reportedly said that the culprit was his ‘naughty’ bichon frise, Marino.
Thomas went on to say that his dog jumped up on his bed and accidentally ordered the Hustler channel. After realizing that his dog did something wrong he contacted Direct TV within a few minutes.
The customer care of the channel assured him that the problem is under process and would be taken care of. But Thomas continued to have access to porn even after complaining. When he received his bill, he subtracted the cost of Hustler and paid the rest, consequently, his cable service was cut off.
Disabled Thomas depended on Social Security disability payments, and according to the reports, he said, “That 70 dollars, you’re taking food out of my mouth. It’s like you’re stealing it. They refused to see how that was pertinent.”
He had to file a Federal Communications Commission to get the provider to credit his next bill.
