As the Russia Ukraine war escalated, an unexpected cyber-attack has gotten thousands of users thrown offline. The number of subscribers increasing who are now facing issues with no internet from February 24. Nine thousand subscribers depended on satellite internet service provided by France’s Nordnet.

The Bigblu internet services, whose parent company is Eutelsat, 40,000 subscribers across Europe are affected. Some of the countries are Germany, France, Greece, Italy, and Poland. Viasat is the client of the above companies. It is a US satellite operator that has stated the extent of damage because of the cyber event, which has caused a partial outage to users in Ukraine and other countries because of the reliance on the KA-SAT satellite.
