During an interview at CNBC he said that according to information he received some of the most influential leaders of tech companies wish to see AI as a tool that will replace human beings one day.

Military Power: When put in the wrong hands AI could bring conflicts in the global front and pose a danger to the entire world.
Why Global Rules?
Bengio also said that the world requires powerful regulation concerning the utilization of AI. He added that no one knows the precise time when AI will be on the level of people’s intelligence. But if it unfolds before the right rules are set, it will lead to massive issues.“AI will go very powerful in the next five years, and we won’t be equipped for it,” he added. He said that we lack the mechanisms to ensure that AI does not endanger the lives of people or betray them. That is why many other experts are already demanding action before it is too late. They believe that waiting until AI becomes more advanced could lead to serious consequences.
In simple terms, Bengio’s message is clear.The danger isn’t just about how AI works but also the people behind the AI.
