Actor Ajay Devgn replied to Varun Dhawan’s tweet over the box office collections of the fronting films Bhediya and Drishyam 2. Both films are battling hard at the ticket windows. However despite the marathon the actors has been at the forefront in supporting each other.
Varun tweeted, “#bhediya has given me so much love it feels amazing to see Soo many people coming to the theatres. A special Sunday as #Dhrishyam2 and #Bhediya give a lot of happiness to all cinema lovers congratulations @ajaydevgn sir and @AbhishekPathakk.”
“Hey @Varun_dvn I’m happy Bhediya & Drishyam 2 have managed to bring the audiences back to the theatres. It’s a feel good moment for us as an Industry. You’re a rockstar,” Ajay’s tweet read.
Drishyam 2 helmed by Abhishek Pathak is a sequel of the to Ajay and Tabu starrer 2015 super hit Drishyam, and the Hindi remake of Mohanlal starrer 2021 Malayalam film, with the same name. It grossed at a whopping ₹200 crore overseas in the initial 10 days.
While Bhediya featuring Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Abhishek Banerjee was out on November 27. It started off at a slower pace however now gained momentum with an earning of ₹28 crore in its first weekend.
Varun will appear in Bawaal, alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Ajay will be featured in Bholaa, with Tabu.
