Akshay Kumar is all set to appear on the screens once again with his upcoming film Kesari: The Battle of Saragarhi. He is very excited for his film. The film that also stars Parineeti Chopra is releasing on March 21, on the auspicious day of Holi festival. These days the actor is doing films on patriotism and social issues. While promoting his film Kesari, he told the media that he wants to explore more and more as an actor and is ready to do anything it will take.
He is in no mood to stop acting in the films and will keep on working hard. However, he said that he doesn’t like to get typecast. He will choose the film depending on its story, ” I am doing ‘Housefull 4’ and I am doing a horror comedy too…”, the actor said.
Talking about ‘Kesari”, he explained it is an intriguing yet story of valour which needs to be told. Kesari is based on the real incident of 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, in which 21 Sikh soldiers of the East India Company army fought 10,000 Afghan invaders. Akshay said, “I hope after this film, things will change and it will be added in the school syllabus”.
