Amala Paul and her lover Jagat Desai got married. The couple’s wedding in Kochi with a lavender theme was breathtaking. Her acting credits in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu movies are her most well-known ones. Earlier this year, she made her Bollywood debut in Bholaa, starring Ajay Devgn.
Amala accepted Jagat’s surprise proposal on her birthday in Kochi ten days after she became engaged. Christian customs were followed throughout the wedding.
On Sunday, Amala shared photos from her wedding to Jagat on Instagram. He’s wearing a white designer kurta-pajama with a lavender drape, and she’s wearing a top and skirt with a striking necklace matching. The two look great together in lavender. She is carrying a bouquet in the first photo and his hand. In the second, they’re seen leaving the stage whereas in the first, they’re shown descending a wooden staircase. They’re grinning in the third photo, with fireworks filling the background.
In her caption, Amala penned, “Celebrating the love & grace that brought us together. #Married to my divine masculine. Seeking your love and blessings (tiara emoji) (red heart with sparkle emojis) #sacredunion.”
Jagat also posted a second set of wedding photos just before Amala. The still images he has are from their wedding picture shoot, when they wore identical clothes. Jagat captioned the photo with, “Two souls , one destiny, walking hand-in-hand with my divine feminine, for the rest of this lifetime. (lavender heart and tiara emojis) #married #twinflame.”
Amala was previously wed to Tamil filmmaker AL Vijay, but the two separated after only three years of marriage, allegedly due to disagreements between her in-laws about her desire to pursue an acting career.
The next Malayalam survival drama featuring Amala is called Aadujeevitham.
