After a judicial trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp that was widely ridiculed, Amber Heard is now making public appearances. The actress’s acting career was the subject of many stories and rumours, but she was unaffected by the criticism. She gained notoriety at the 69th Taormina Film Festival in Italy for her upcoming movie, In the Fire, as well as for a social media post she made that was viciously ridiculed by Johnny Depp’s fans.

The actress’s first film since her widely publicised trial against Depp last spring, when the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 60, sued her for slander, is In the Fire, directed by Conor Allyn.
After her previous post in December 2022, Amber Heard marked her social media comeback by posting on Instagram. She uploaded a picture of herself grinning onstage at the Italian Taormina Film Festival, where she was there to promote her film In the Fire. “Thank you for such an incredibly warm reception at the Taormina Film Festival for my latest movie, In the Fire. It was an unforgettable weekend. #InTheFire,” said Heard.
Her decision to limit her comment area after a few fans left heartfelt words drew everyone’s attention. Many people believed that Amber Heard did not want to face criticism from Johnny Depp’s supporters since they would have undoubtedly commented against her. But a handful of them were swift enough to retweet the news of her return to social media.
“It’s her goodbye tour because Hollywood don’t want her,” a user averred. Another mentioned, “She’s still Amber Turd.” “Nobody cares about this lying abuser,” said a fan of Depp. “Well, Will Smith had a new movie out in the cinemas after the Oscar slap incident, it’s just that box office.😅😅,” said another.
Amber Heard will play a New York physician in the forthcoming thriller film who travels to a rural farm in the 1890s to treat a troubled youngster with mysterious talents.
