After taking to social media to remember the martyrs , Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan paid tribute to the 166 people killed in the 11th anniversary of the 2008 26/11 attack on the Gateway of India in Mumbai. He paid tribute to the fallen heroes in a performance supported by the artist of Shiamak Davar Dance Company.
Along with Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan also attended the event with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the couple looked stunning together. Aishwarya Rai was seen wearing a pretty yellow outfit while Junior Bachchan was suited up in black. In the ceremony, Amitabh was wearing a black kurta-pajama and a shawl, began his performance with ‘Kya sare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara?.which made his audience as well as his family members emotional by his brilliant performance. In this performance, Shiamak Davar dance group supported him while Abhishek and Aishwarya were sitting with the audience watching the entire program. The audience too was enthralled by Big B’s performance.
Amitabh later shared several memorable pictures from the event on his blog and wrote, “In the memory of 26/11 .. the survivors .. and the stories of strength .. and love for the Nation ..” he quoted. He also kept awake till midnight as he waited for the arrival of his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s birth anniversary on Wednesday.
