Asif Basra Death News: Famous actor Asif Basra was found dead in a private compound in Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Police and forensic team reached the spot and investigated under which circumstances the death occurred. SSP Kangra, Vimukt Ranjan said that film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. The forensic team is on the scene and the police is investigating the case. Popular artist, Basra is known for his roles in films like ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Kai Po Che’, ‘Parzania’, ‘Ek Villain’.
Most recently known for his role in the thriller series Hades and Hostages. He was also part of the Hollywood flick Outsource. The actor started his career in 1998 with the film ‘Vo’. Asif was last seen in the second season of the hostages of the Disney + Hotstar series. He also acted as a senior executive in a media house in Amazon Prime’s Hades, which was released earlier this year. He also acted in overseas productions such as QuickSand and Outsourced in addition to cameos in One Night with King. Reports said that actor Asif Basra had been living in a rented house in McLeodganj for the last 5 years.

According to the news, Asif had been living with a woman at the Live-In for the past few years. The actor lived in a rented house in Dharamshala. Thursday afternoon Asif came out to roam his pet dog. After this, he came back and committed suicide. Initial investigation revealed that he was a victim of depression. Police is currently investigating the matter.
