Sooraj Barjatya’s film Uunchai was released in theaters on Friday. The film under the banner of Rajshri Productions have kicked off with limited screens but ramped up the screen count in the first few days of the week. On Saturday, Anupam who is also a part of the film tweeted a video in which he is having a hard time buying a ticket from the counter in Mumbai as it is supposedly housefull.
In the video, Anupam is seen dressed in formals and says in Hindi, “He is refusing me. I have acted in this film. Only one, I can even stand and watch.” However, the teller doesn’t budge.
At last the actor is seen laughing at the instance and moves back, it is when the director of the film is also spotted at some distance. Someone from the background says, “Amazing movie, sir!” Posting the video the actor wrote in Hindi, “I could not get the ticket of Uunchai movie. For the first time, saw success in failure. I’m so happy I may go mad. Anything can happen. Hahaha
Uunchai features Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Parineeti Chopra, and Sarika. The film received positive reviews from the critics and have started off well at the theaters in some places making it a housefull show.
