Following quite a month of prep, Anushka Sharma is at long last prepared to take to the cricket pitch and get the cameras rolling for her forthcoming sports movie ‘Chakda Xpress’.
The actress, who is set to bring the true story of Indian cricket star Jhulan Goswami to the big screen, shared a reel from the script-reading session with a host of other women. Set to the tunes of Harry Styles’ melody ‘As It Was’, the actress shared a look from the script read that had her grin from ear-to-ear.
“Will strive to bring my all to the table,” she captioned the clip.
‘Chakda Xpress’ is helmed by Prosit Roy, traces Jhulan’s journey as she moves up the ladder notwithstanding the hindrances posed by sexist politics to fulfill her dream of playing cricket for India.
