Asha Parekh awarded with three Dadasahab Phalke will be honored with at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which will also honor ace Spanish filmmaker Carlos Saura with the lifetime achievement.
The 53rd edition of the festival will be feature three films of the actor. The festival will take place between November 20 to 28 at Panaji, Goa.
Teesri Manzil, Do Badan and Kati Patang will be the three films scheduled for screening based on the suggestions of Asha Parekh herself, mentioned National Film Development Corporation of India managing director Ravinder Bhakar.
Award-winning Spanish filmmaker Carlos Suara will be felicitated with Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award at the gala. Along with the actor, eight of his films- including La Caza del Conejo and Ana Y Los Lobos, will be screened too.
