According to rumours, Salman Khan’s upcoming movie Kick 2 would introduce Asim Riaz to Bollywood after Shehnaaz Gill. The Bigg Boss 13 runner-up is Asim. While his most recent Instagram post added fuel to the flames, Sajid Nadiadwala has now intervened to put an end to such rumours.
Sajid’s production house, Nadiadwala Grandson’s Twitter account made it clear by stating, “We are working on our script for #Kick2 and this news is NOT TRUE! We request all the media houses to please clarify the news with us before printing.”
Asim Riaz’s debut with Kick 2 was confirmed in a Free Press Journal article, which ignited the rumour. He has reportedly been offered a key part in the film. A person close to Asim was mentioned in the same article as saying, “The film will release in 2024 and and official announcement about Asim’s role in the film will be made soon.”
While Asim recently posted a selfie on his Instagram Stories, “New beginnings”.”
The eagerly anticipated Kick 2 is the follow-up to Salman’s 2014 action movie. It will bring him and Jacqueline Fernandez back together. On Jacqueline Fernandez’s birthday in 2020, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala invited her to participate and announced the movie. However, the production crew hasn’t provided any fresh information.
“We are yet to lock the female co-star post which we will start working on the shoot dates. Kick 2 will happen in December 2021, I am in a process to finish writing the script,” the filmmaker mentioned while speaking to PTI.
