Actress Athiya Shetty jetted off to Germany with her lover KL Rahul as of late for surgery. Reportedly, KL Rahul suffered a groin injury during a training session on June 8. On Wednesday, he took to his Instagram account and updated that he went through successful surgery and is currently ‘healing and recovering well’.
KL Rahul said thanked everybody for messages and prayers, saying his road to recuperation has started following a ‘tough couple of weeks’.
He wrote, “Hello everyone. It’s been a tough couple of weeks but the surgery was successful. I’m healing and recovering well. My road to recovery has begun. Thank you for your messages and prayers. See you soon.”
Not long after he shared the note, Athiya took to her Instagram story and shared his image. She shared it with a grinning emoticon.
In the mean time, Athiya and KL Rahul made their relationship official last year. The Indian cricketer wished Athiya on her birthday with a mushy post. From that point forward, the couple has been treating their fans with their photos. In April this year, Athiya posted lovey-dovey pics with her beau as she wished him on his birthday. Alongside the photos, she wrote, “anywhere with you, happy birthday 🥰.”
In the mean time, Athiya was previously seen in ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
