Talking about his role in the movie, Rohit said, “I am playing Adi’s (Abhimanyu Dassani) close friend Omi. He’s a humorous person who, despite being faint-hearted, has always stood up to his friend.”

Rohit is thrilled to be making his Bollywood debut alongside Abhimanyu, Shirley Setia, and Shilpa Shetty. “I’m really looking forward to seeing myself on the big screen. Though I did another film with Arjun Rampal and Manav Kaul, but it was released on the OTT platform. So Nikamma will technically be my Bollywood debut,” he said, beaming.

He had earlier done shows like Mere Dad Ki Dulhan and Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi. Sharing his experience working with Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota actor, Rohit said, “He submits himself completely and makes the character believable. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with him. I admire Shilpa a lot, but unfortunately I don’t have any scenes with her.”

Talking about his upcoming projects, Rohit quipped, “I have signed another movie, which also features a veteran Bollywood diva. I won’t be able to say much about the project because it’s still in its early stages.”

It looks like the makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai were also quite inspired by Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra’s weddings and implemented quite a few elements in Akshara aka Pranali Rathod’s wedding attire.

The bride, Akshara looked breath-taking in her wedding ensembles matched with traditional jewellery. While the functions were well colour coordinated, the bride looked stunning in the detailed lehenga. The dupatta was the major highlight of her stunning outfit.

Akshara’s grand entry for both Varmala and other rituals is quite an inspiration from Priyanka Chopra’s long veil wedding and also took cues from Deepika Padukone’s signature ‘Aayushmati bhava’ written on the veil.

The makers have recreated the look with a desi twist. Akshara’s veil is all filmy with #AbhiKiAkshu beautifully sewed on it. With grandeur set up and that eye-candy, moments will make the wedding into a festival for its viewers.

While the bride Akshara grabbed all the eyeballs, the groom Abhimanyu looked no less than a king.

“I am single and have no plans to get married. My parents are also quite chilled-out and prefer that I take my own time to find a companion,” says the actor, who also played the lead in Nazar.

Rajput wanted to settle down first, and he doesn’t plan on marrying for another 2-3 years. “I am looking for someone with whom I can share my views and we are on the same page about important things in life. I am not a very demanding guy, so I have no bigger preferences about whether she should be from the industry or not. Besides, currently, I don’t see myself getting married for another 2-3 years. I want to settle in my career and do good for myself. Then, I will think of marriage,” Harsh says.

He was naturally disappointed when his last show wrapped up in just one-and-a-half months. He says, “Honestly, I was a bit upset when I got to know that the show was going off air. Supernatural and shows revolving around naagins mostly connect with viewers. But every show has its own journey. I enjoyed the ride, that’s why I was not at all disappointed. Because of ‘Kuch Toh Hai’, I got an opportunity to associate with Balaji Telefilms and met some amazing people on set.”

Harsh has been doing singles and he also did a special episode of his TV show Nazar. He says, “Last year for the Ankahee Dastaan’s series our show Nazar was brought back in the format of a film. Thankfully, I got an opportunity to play half-human-half-devil Daavansh again. Naagin, daayan, pisachini, vampires were all part of Indian stories. These stories never cease to amaze us. Most of the supernatural shows cast a magic spell on viewers, that’s why they adore these shows.”

The hazel-eyed actor has been part of many TV shows like Nazar, Jaanbaaz Sindbad and Sapne Suhane Ladakpan ke. The actor wants to explore alternative platforms and does not want to restrict himself to any medium. He says, “As an actor, I don’t want to restrict my craft to a certain medium. I am open to doing daily soaps, web series and films. It is more about the role than the medium.”

Currently Aditya (Gashmeer Mahajani) and Imlie (Sumbul Touqeer) are living separately. She is attempting to establish herself as a freelance journalist, while Aryan is determined to embarrass Aditya and Imlie at all costs.

According to our sources, “Rupali is unhappy with whatever is happening between her brother Aditya and Imlie. He’s getting ready to marry Malini (Mayuri Deshmukh), and Rupali knows he’s not happy about it. To stop the wedding, Rupali will plan to lock Aditya and Imlie in a booth.”

When contacted Preet, who is playing the role of Rupali said, “Rupali knows his brother is not happy with this wedding. He is pretending that he is fine, but he is not. Rupali very well understand her brother’s situation and wants to bring back Imlie in his life.”

She further added, “Rupali feels Aditya and Imlie need to talk to each other to resolve the misunderstanding. During the Mehandi ceremony, she will lock Aditya and Imlie inside a photo booth.”

Only time will tell whether Rupali’s trick works or brings more trouble in Imlie’s life.

In Imlie, she has been playing Gashmeer Mahajani’s sister Rupali. When quizzed does it get repetitive? Preet said, “Imlie’s relationship with her own sister, Malini, isn’t as strong as the one she has with her sister-in-law Rupali. I don’t think it’s repetitive because I sometimes defend her, but there are times when I’m helpless and Imlie comes to my aid. When Rupali was depressed as a result of a terrible marriage, Imlie appeared as a ray of hope.”

Preet also talks about how she likes to watch Pakistani shows. She says,“I have been watching Pakistani dramas for quite some time. Recently I saw Suno Chanda, it’s such an amazing show. Every character in the show is distinct, and even supporting characters and cameos are given equal screen time.”

She further added, “It is not about a single character in international shows who will have to give extended dialogues and act like a superhero. I believe that series like these are needed in India as well, where each character is given ample screen time.”

Preet is delighted with her role in Imlie. She says, “When I initially heard about my character, I felt she was neither negative nor positive. She becomes bitter over the period of time because she was abandoned by her husband. She lives with her parents and occasionally feels nervous when she sees other couples in the house. She believes her parents consider her a burden.”

The pretty actress further added, “Unlike other shows I don’t have to don heavy sarees and wear loud makeup. I am enjoying shooting for Imlie because it is an amazing show.”

When contacted, Namish said, “It is said that the position of the planets and stars in the sky influences our life. Since scientific testing has found no evidence related to astrology, I used to feel cynical about astrology. But then I met Anant Patwa ji, he literally changed my perception towards astrology.”

“Anand ji is a renowned astrologer. He explained to me how movements and relative positions of celestial bodies can influence us. Based on his knowledge and interpretation he had provided an accurate insightful analysis of my past. This left me spellbound. He predicted many things about my personal and professional life. Over the years, 99.9% of those predictions did seem to come true. Initially I was ignorant and used to pay no heed, but now I don’t take his advice lightly,” Namish affirmed.

He further added, “We share a beautiful bond, he is like a father figure to me. I consider him as my friend, philosopher and guiding angel.”

The pretty actress recently entered the show as Nishant Tripathi’s (Arham Abbasi) love-interest. Now we heard, Chandni is leaving the show. Apparently Chandni got a meatier offer from the South Film industry, that’s why she requested the makers to let us move on.

When contacted Chandni said, “As they say all good things come to an end. So yes, as of now my track in the show is over. Yesterday was the last day of shooting.”

She further added, “It was a great opportunity to work in such a fabulous show. It’s been hardly 2 and a half months since I joined Imlie and in this short span of time I gelled really well with my co-actors. I am going to surely miss shooting for the show.”

After doing shows like Amita Ka Amit, Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story, Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, P.S. I Hate You and Sanjivani, Chandni did two movies, Ratham and Diksoochi in South. Talking about quitting the show for a movie offer, Chandni said, “I can’t really say that I am quitting the show because I signed the movie. First of all my character was supposed to end in two-three months and secondly it’s a mutual decision taken by the production house and me. While shooting for Imlie I got an offer from South. I discussed this with the production house, thankfully they understood my situation and allowed me to move on. But you never know,I might come back later on.”

‘Mere Sai – Shraddha Aur Saburi’ actor Saurabh Shrikant, took the nuptial vows in a private wedding ceremony.

He tied the knot with Apeksha Sathe, a corporate professional, on May 28. It was an arranged marriage. They met through a matrimonial site and then their respective families took the lead. Due to COVID they introduced each other to their parents via video calls. Last year on 31st October they got engaged in an intimate ceremony.

When contacted Saurabh said, “We met through a matrimonial site and found each other compatible. Due to the pandemic initially we pushed our marriage, but then on 28th May, we took the plunge and exchanged vows in the presence of family members. Because of COVID restrictions, only 15 family members were invited.”

Rohit Gujjar, who was last seen in Bodhi Tree’s show ‘Hamari Wali Good News’ wants to do the roles which can give his creative satisfaction.

“To be very honest, I am an extremely greedy actor. I want to do all sorts of roles, especially the ones which will put me out of my comfort zone,” Rohit said.

He further added, “I don’t want to restrict myself to a certain medium or genre, I am keen on exploring all the mediums be it films, TV or digital shows. I believe each medium serves different audiences, which will help me in widening my reach.”

Rohit has been tickling the funny bone of people with his online videos in which he played different characters Gandi Zufra, Gussa Chhabra, Dr. Rosemoon etc. His comedy makeup videos with Gaurav Gera went viral. “I was surprised when our makeup videos started trending on social media platforms. I am quite elated and happy because I had not expected this,” Rohit said.

Rohit is currently in his hometown Amroli, and enjoying a good time with his family. He recently started making comic videos with his mom, talking about the same Rohit said, “Some of my projects got postponed because of the pandemic. I decided to utilize this time and came to my hometown to be with my family. Gaurav and I got appreciation from every nook and cranny for our makeup videos, which encouraged me to explore more. My mom is camera shy, but somehow I convinced her to record a video with me. Initially she was reluctant, but now she is extremely confident. Infact nowadays she gets excited when I request her to record the video.”
