Post witnessing a brain stroke the actor was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata for more than two weeks on November 1. Industry artists and her friends have expressed their condolence and paid tribute to the young actor. 

In an event conducted at the Aaj Tak studios on Saturday, Swanand said, “Remix pareshaan toh karte hain. I feel kisi ke bane banaye khet pe fasal kaat le vaise baat ho gayi (Remixes do annoy. It is like reaping the rewards of someone else’s labour). I never liked it. Nowadays, in the film industry, [it is said] that you should remix your own song. There’s no sense in it.”

Charu, who is supposedly not in cordial terms with her husband Rajeev Sen, Sushmita Sen’s brother is about to go for divorce. Charu posted a picture of her little one Zaina and attached a heartfelt note on her behalf.

Navya asked Jaya and her mother Shweta Bachchan that why is this indifference so prevalent and what can be done to solve it. Jaya answered “The insecurity of a man, who’s sitting at the head of it. Actually, he’s insecure and that’s why he finds it easier to put a woman down in every field and in every way and this is the outcome of that kind of a mindset…”

Speaking to Hindustan Times in 2016, Tabassum revealed that initially celebs featured on the show but then the viewers started queuing up outside their office to become a part of the audience. “Initially, some artists would act snobbish about coming on the show, but once it became popular, the biggest names would queue up at the Doordarshan office for a slot. It was as much of a craze then as social media is today,” Tabassum added.

“Few days ago, she was admitted to a hospital. She had gastro problem and we went there for check-up. She suffered two cardiac attacks at 8.40 pm and 8.42 pm. She passed away peacefully on Friday night,” her son Hoshang Govil mentioned in a statement to PTI.

“I think it was destined to meet such fate. Uska ultimate yahi hona tha because no big names were associated with it… Na koi bada star…na bada banner…see nepotism hai aur rahega… None can deny that. When I joined this industry, I was prepared that nepotism toh hoga hi. When I chose this line, I had to accept it and just continue doing my job with best efforts. But the kind of views the film garnered on OTT platform made me absolutely proud and convinced that my film was among the best projects till date.” 

Speaking to the judges, he says, “Neha and I were rejected on Indian Idol on the same day. We travelled together in the train, from Mumbai to Delhi. There were 50 of us, who were rejected together and we were all travelling.” He further adds, “Neha aaj judge hai aur main yahaan (Neha is a judge today and I am here too). So this really means a lot.”

“I am really looking forward to coming back to India with a concert. It has been such a long gap, and so much has happened for all of us in that time. Now, I am looking forward to just coming back, reconnecting not with just the audiences, but also with friends and family. It means a lot to me,” Shankar mentioned in an interview.

Divya Dutta said, “He extended his hand and received me, just like in a film. He asked me, ‘Do you want to have some tea?’ He asked me why I was there, and I just said, ‘I want to be a part of Dil Se’. He promised to convey my message.”
