    Barbie trailer: Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling sets out for a mystic rollercoaster to discover the real world

    The trailer of the forthcoming much awaited Barbie has arrived. It stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, and the characters are set amidst the sparkling world of Barbieland.

    Directed by Greta Gerwig, the movie is slated to release on July 21, 2023.In the trailer, Barbie and Ken sets out on a journey to explore the paths of Barbieland. However, they land in prison. Later they seek for mugshots and are determined to unfurl the truth about universe.

    The synopsis of the film released by the makers read, “To live in Barbieland is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you’re a Ken.”

    The ensemble includes America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Helen Mirren, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Scott Evans, Jamie Demetriou and Connor Swindells.

    Margot had spoke about sexualization of Barbie during a conversation with Vogue, she added, “She’s a doll. She’s a plastic doll. She doesn’t have organs. If she doesn’t have organs, she doesn’t have reproductive organs. If she doesn’t have reproductive organs, would she even feel sexual desire? No, I don’t think she could.”
