Actor Kartik Aaryan is bracing up for collaborating with producer Bhushan Kumar, and director Anees Bazmee for the third film of the superhit Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, in accordance with the production banner T-Series. On Wednesday (March 1), he released the first teaser of the film which is a horror-comedy set to launch on Diwali next year.
In the teaser, Kartik Aaryan aka Rooh Baba is sitting in a haunted setting and in the background, the iconic Ami Je Tomar is being played. In the clip, Rooh Baba claims that he can not just communicate with the spirits but also posses them within him when his eyes turn evil.
“After winning hearts of millions across the globe, the gates of ‘haveli’ will now open again for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3! Following a massive success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, producer Bhushan Kumar, director Anees Bazmee and actor Kartik Aaryan collaborate yet again to carry forward the legacy of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise,” read the media statement.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 emerged to be one the highest grossing films of 2022 which collected Rs 250 crore at box office. The film featured Kiara Advani, Kartik Aaryan, and Tabu in the pivotal roles.
In the pipeline, Kartik will be seen in Hansal Mehta’s Captain India, Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, Aashiqui 3, and Kabir Khan’s untitled film racked for him. He will be appearing in a cameo role in Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
