Finally, the much-awaited show Bigg Boss 16 aired on our television screen. The show started with the grand premiere. And the first thing that the audience witnessed was the palatial house. The grand house has the circus theme this year. And the bright colors of the house were worth watching. Just after that, the host of the show Salman khan made his grand entry into the house. Dressed in a green dazzling coat and black pants, Salman looked dashing. So the premiere started with introducing the contestants, who will participate in the show this year. But before introducing them the superstar, was heard saying that this year the audience might be thinking that they know everything. But they will get a surprise. Because this year according to Bhaijaan “Expect the Unexpected”.
So let’s take a look at the contestants who made their entry into the show:
Nimrat Kaur
The first one to make her entry is Nimrat Kaur. She is an actress who is popularly known as Choti Sardarini. Kaur made his entry with her dance moves, and thumka’s. She is also a lawyer by profession and Bigg Boss asked her to be the captain. Being a captain she is asked to allot the beds to the contestants and assign duties to them.
Abdu Rozik
The second one to enter the house was the Tajikistani singer and boxer Abdu Rozik. He sang many songs of Salman. and of course, he is one of the tiniest contestants on the show. The cutest part was to see him opening the glass door of the BB house.
Ankit and Priyanka
The next one was the couple entry of Ankit and Priyanka who were together in the show Udaniya. They made their way to the show by dancing to the beats of Nach Panjaban. Soon after they entered Salman welcomed them too. The couple has fabulous onscreen chemistry and in real life, they are best buddies.
MC Stan
MC stan is not the screen character but he is a real-life character. He is a rapper who made his grand entry to the show and also performed in front of Salman. The most noticeable thing was his looks for Bigg Boss which was worth 60-70 lakhs.
Archana Gautam and Gautam Singh
They were the 6th and the 7th contestant on the show. Archana is an actress, model, and an MLA from Meerut. She made her grand entry to the show wearing a white saree. And all she wants is fame from the show. So that she can win the elections and could marry a politician. To join her on stage was Gautam Singh since he resembles Hrithik a lot. Salman called him small screen Hrithik Roshan.
Soundarya Sharma and Shiv Thackeray
Soundarya is a Bhojpuri star who made her grand entry by performing on the Liger song Aafat. All dressed in black she set the stage on fire. Also a dentist by profession she had talked with Salman on stage regarding her career. Now along with him to join the stage was Bigg Boss Marathi-2 winner Shiv Thakeray. Shiv hails from Amravati. All prepped up for the show this energetic young man wants to gain popularity from the show.
Sumbul Touqueer
Sumbal made her grand entry inside the house. And impressed the fans by mimicking Salman Khan. She made the host laugh and also entertained the fans with her performance. She is the youngest contestant who started her career at just 7. When Salman asked if she can manage with so many contestants inside the house. She replied positively. Mentioning the struggles and experiences she had at a very young stage. Also, her father joined her on stage reciting a poem.
Manya Singh
Manya is also one of the contestants to enter the show this year. She won the title of Femina Miss India in 2020 as runner-up. She made a rocking entry to the show, sizzling in a blue sparking slit gown. Manya is a daughter of an autorickshaw driver, and she believes in simple and dedicated life. while talking about her life struggles she said that her mother still travels on a local train in Mumbai.
Gori Nagori
Gori is a Haryanvi dancer who made a rocking entry on the Bigg boss stage. Also, known as Rajasthani Shakira, she is the 12th participant in the show. The dancer set the stage on fire by dancing with Salman Khan. Gori told that she got international offers, but she rejected them as she can’t speak English.
Sreejita De and Tina Dutta
Tina is an actress who gained popularity with the show Uttaran on colors. She made her mind-blowing entry this season. Draped in a red net saree she looked quite hot. And the one to join her on stage was Shreejia. Hailing from west Bengal she appeared in many television serials. So finally this year she will be participating in the biggest reality show. These young divas who made entry to the big Boss house together already made an onscreen appearance on the show and in real life also they are best buddies.
Sajid Khan
Sajid of course doesn’t need an introduction. He is obviously a well-known Indian filmmaker and television presenter. Soon after Sajid makes his entry he says that there are rumors about him entering the Bigg boss this year. But the rumors are correct he said. This year he will play with the contestants, learn some household chores, and of course reconnect with the audience. On stage, he was welcomed by host Salman Khan. And said that there will no partiality in spite of knowing each other. In the show actress Shehnaaz Gill was also seen, giving a video message to Sajid khan. Wishing him good luck, Shehnaaz asks him to have fun inside the house.
