Who is Sumbal Touqueer?
Sumbul was born Katni, Madhya Pradesh. She started her career at a very young age. She was a participant in DID Li’l Masters in 2015. The young lady first made her TV debut with the show Chandragupta Maurya, playing the role of Shubhada. Not just this but she was also the part of the shows like Jodha Akbar, Waaris and Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein. Very few people might be knowing that she appeared in Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Article 15. Where she played the role of Amali. However she came into the limelight and attained instant recognigion after appearing in the TV show Imli. Pairing alongside Fahmaan Khan. Ultimately the show gave her recognition and she became a household name. While ago the rumors started floating that she and Farhaan are dating each other as they coincidently left the show together. On being asked they both remained tight lipped.
Why Sumbul refused to enter BB16 earlier?
Sumbul is known for playing the character of Imlie on the Star Plus. That comes among the top 5 most-watched shows. But she quit the show. And decided to participate in BB16. However, many of you might not be knowing that earlier she refused to enter BB16. As she knew very little about the hit show. But on his father’s advise she saw the previous episodes before being offered to participate.
Soon after watching she got scared, as she noticed the fights that took place inside the controversial reality show. And the way Salman Khan scolds the contestants on weekend ka vaar. In an interview she said “I was very scared and told my dad that I won’t do it, but he convinced me that I can do it. As a result, I decided to take up the offer.” Infact on the premiere episode she revealed herself that she was scared to do the show. This year she is the youngest contestant on the reality show. For those unaware Sumbul also appeared in a music video with her co-star Fahmaan titled Ishq Ho Gaya.
