After The Zoya Factor, a romantic comedy in which she co-starred with Dulquer Salmaan, Sonam Kapoor will next be seen in a main role her upcoming film, Blind. It is a police investigative thriller in which she plays a sight impaired officer looking for a serial killer, will be her next appearance.
Despite having visual impairment, Sonam is seen in the teaser pursuing a serial killer. The serial murderer appears fierce in the teaser, despite just appearing briefly.
The thriller is a remake of the eponymous 2011 Korean film. Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey are also featured. Glasgow, Scotland, was used extensively for filming. On July 7, Jio Cinema will debut it.
Earlier Sonam spoke to Indian Express about the projects she is going to work on post her maternity break. “It hasn’t affected work at all. It’s also because I decided to not work while I was pregnant. And I think it was the best decision as I got to take some time off. Now, I am getting back and I will be shooting for my films, and a few other things. Blind is releasing next month, which was shot just before I got pregnant. So there’s a lot to look forward to,” she added.
