Bollywood Veteran actress Shashikala on Sunday passed away at her residence. Her sudden death left everyone in grief as she was considered one of the most talented actresses of her time. She was 88 and was at her residence on Sunday. But so far the reason behind her death is still known.
The actress started working at an early age and appeared in films like Daku, V. Shantaram’s Teen Batti Char Raasta, Bimal Roy’s Sujata, Tarachand Barjatya’s Aarti, Baadshah, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. And was awarded the Padma Shri award for her contribution to cinema in the year 2007.
After the news broke out, Kiran Kotrial paid tribute to her on her Facebook account. And as per the information her funeral will be held in a church in Colaba.

And those films were ‘Badshah’,Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’. Not just this she also worked in television shows like Son Pari and Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai among others.
