Bollywood singer Mika Singh is becoming a target on social media after he performed in an event in Pakistan. He is on the receiving end of backlash by Indian social media users. Actually, recently Mika Singh went to Pakistan to perform at a marriage function. It was a marriage of Pakistan’s former president Pervez Musharraf’s close relative.
Ever since the video of his performance from the function uploaded on the internet, it started doing the rounds. This irked Indian social media users. After the Indian government led by BJP’s Narendra Modi revocate Article 370 and 35 A from Jammu & Kashmir which provided special status to the state previously, Pakistan government decided to cut off all the bilateral trade ties with India.
Mika Singh was bashed by India users who commented, “Sharam aani chahiye” means shame on you!. whereas some of the users commented, the Indian government should cancel Mika Singh’s citizenship and passport, let him live in Pakistan. One of the users wrote, ‘brother you also turned out to be a traitor, this country has given you so much, shame on you!’
Mika performed in Musharraf’s relative’s marriage function on August 8. he came to Pakistan with his 14 group members. According to the reports, he charged Rs 1.06 crore for the performance.
