    Box office success: Films which have crossed the 100 cr mark

    The Indian cinema industry regularly produces films in a variety of languages, but only a small number of them surpass the Rs. 100-crore threshold to be deemed box office successes. The year 2023 saw numerous Indian films pull off this amazing accomplishment and join the exclusive 100-crore club at the global box office. The top 20 films that achieved this in many languages are listed below.

    Hindi films

    The film Pathaan, which also starred Dipika Padukone, John Abraham, and the legendary Shah Rukh Khan, was at the forefront of the movement. According to sacnilk, the movie did remarkably well at the box office, reaching an amazing Rs. 1,050.05 crore.

    Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, grossed Rs. 392.7 crore and came in second.

    Ranbir Kapoor, Shradhaa Kapoor, and Dimple Kapadia starred in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which earned a total of 223 crore rupees globally.

    Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, and Sonia Balani starred in The Kerala Story, which earned a total of 302 crore rupees in revenue globally.Salman Khan, Puja Hegde, and Venkatesh D were the stars of the movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which earned a total of 184.6 crore rupees worldwide.

    With a worldwide total of Rs. 180.10 crore, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and Jaya Bachchan, is the newest Hindi film to join the club.

    Zara Hatke Zara Bachke starred Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakesh Vedi which earned a total of 116 crore rupees globally. The film Bholaa, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Deepak Dobriyal, earned a total of 123 crore rupees worldwide.

    Tamil films

    In the 100-crore Club, the Tamil cinema industry also had some incredible successes. The historical action movie Ponniyin Selvan: II, starring Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, R. Sarathkumar, and Jayaram, enthralled viewers and made Rs. 344.63 crore.

    Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier’s Thunivu made Rs. 220 crore, while Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna’s Varisu brought in Rs. 297.55 crore.Vaathi, starring Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon, earned a total of 118 crore rupees in international box office revenue.

    Telugu films

    With multiple films entering the 100-crore Club, Telugu cinema established itself. Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Catherine Tresa’s Waltair Veerayya stood out and made Rs. 219 crore.

    Veera Simha Reddy earned Rs. 133 crore thanks to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s charismatic performance. Pawan Kalyan’s powerful performance in Bro brought in Rs. 102 crore, and the entertaining Virupaksha starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon brought in Rs. 103.5 crore.

    Dasara, starring Nani, Keerthy Suresh, and Dheekshith Shetty, made a total of Rs. 118.50 crore in international box office revenue.

    Regional films

    Other regional languages, like Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, have had notable performances. 180.03 crore rupees were made by the Malayalam film 2018, also titled 2018: Everyone is a Hero.

    Carry on Jatta 3, starring Kavita Kaushik, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Sonam Bajwa, and Gippy Grewal, earned Rs 110 crore in Punjabi cinema.
