Warner Bros. don’t let the hype surrounding Mortal Kombat recently created by the trailer diminish in the run-up to the film’s release in just over a month. Today the studio comes with a pretty cool poster of the game filming. You can watch it below. Simon McQuoid
‘s movie promises to showcase a lot of cool characters from the games. Obviously there are the eternal enemies Sub-Zero ( Joe Taslim ) and Scorpion ( Hiroyuki Sanada ), but it doesn’t stop there.
You will also see figures such as newcomer Cole Young (Lewis Tan), Kung Lao (Max Huang), Mileena (Sisi Stringer), Kano (Josh Lawson), Shang Tsung (Chin Han), Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee), Liu Kang ( Ludi Lin), Raiden (Tadanobu Asano), and Jax Briggs (Mehcad Brooks).
Finally back to the cinema?
The big question for Dutch fans who are looking forward to the film is of course whether we can watch it in the cinemas. The corona measures must of course first be relaxed, and that chance is quite difficult to estimate.
If it does happen, Mortal Kombat will be playing in Dutch cinemas from April 15.
