Suga, a member of BTS, has expressed a desire to visit India. BTS has a sizable fan base in India, but the group hasn’t yet made any official preparations for trips there. After closing up his ongoing August D-Day tour in Bangkok, Suga recently had a live session where he addressed one of the fans who had asked BTS to perform in India.

Min Yoongi as quoted by Twitter user @btstranslation7, said, “India? Guys, I really want to go perform in India. Before the tour dates were announced, we were looking at a few different places for the shows. One of those was India, but unfortunately, we couldn’t set up a show due to Covid.”

Later the artist also shared his inclination for Bollywood films. “I want you guys to know I’m seeing all the flags you’ve been putting in the comments. One day, I’ll go visit each and every place,” he responded to fans joining him from different parts of the world. He further added, “India, I’ve heard there are a lot of ARMYs supporting us from India. Guys, I’m a fan of Indian movies, love the Bollywood films.”

Indian fans reacted to this with surprise and excitement. Someone wrote, “My God I’m not in right stage rn… Suga is talking about India and Indian moves Bollywood OMG.” “OMG… Suga knows Bollywood he wants to come to India. Hope he comes soon,” added added. A fan tweeted, “We won. Period.”

A BTS member has previously spoken about upcoming concerts in India. A BTS concert was actually scheduled for Mumbai in 2020. However, Covid-19 prevented things from happening.

Earlier RM had averred, “Our goal was to go on a tour for a year travelling several countries in other continents.”

In April, Suga released D-Day, his debut studio album. He’s now on his first solo tour right now. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook make up BTS.
