The Chandigarh Police made invoices of 132 people for doing reckless activity to promote infection. This includes 84 not keeping physical distance, 32 people spitting in a public place and 15 people walking outside without a mask. The police department has recovered a total invoice amount of Rs 68,500.

Police have also seized drivers’ challans and vehicles. On Saturday, the police cut 36 challans in violation of various traffic rules, while seizing two vehicles. On Sunday also, the police is engaged in teaching a lesson to those who break the Corona Safety Protocol. At various points in the city, the police is teaching law lessons to those who do not follow masks and social distancing. In many places, such people are being warned, and those who do not believe in many places are being challaned.
