Salman Khan has been roped in for a special cameo in Chiranjeevi’s forthcoming movie, ‘Godfather’. The Telugu megastar has now uncovered why he picked Salman and not Aamir Khan for the role.
Chiranjeevi as of late revealed the Telugu trailer of Aamir’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in Hyderabad. At the trailer launch event, Aamir talked about his long association with Chiranjeevi in spite of the fact that they have met a couple of times over the past couple of decades.
Thanking him for graciously accepting his invitation to be a part of the trailer launch, Aamir added that he might want to give back the favour by working on one of his projects if there’s an opportunity. Further, the Bollywood star likewise jokingly asked Chiranjeevi for what reason he didn’t approach him for a role in his film Godfather and went with Salman Khan instead.
Responding to the same, the south megastar uncovered that the character didn’t require somebody with heart and brain, however, required somebody for their physicality, and that is the reason they went with Salman. The movie would mark his debut in the Telugu film industry. ‘Godfather’ likewise features Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, on the other hand, features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya and others. It is set to hit the theatres on August 11, 2022.
