Hasin Jahan created controversies last year. It all started when she revealed on social media that her husband, famous Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami has multiple extra-marital affairs and she also accused him of match-fixing. Eventually, she filed for a divorce and demanded a hell lot of money in alimony.
Now, according to the latest reports, she was taken into custody by police in Amroha in Uttar Pradesh after she reached her husband’s house and created a ruckus. However, she was later released on bail.
Hasin Jahan arrived at her husband’s house in Sahaspur village late on Sunday night. She was asked to leave by her in-laws, to which she responded by locking herself up in a room with her daughter who is a toddler. Then her in-laws called up the police and it took Hasin Jahan into custody after the police failed to control the situation but later released her.
Hasin Jahan said, “I have come to my husband’s house and I have every right to stay here. My in-laws are misbehaving with me and the police is supporting them. They should have arrested them but they are taking me to the police station.”
Mohammed Shami currently is playing for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL.
