Ridley seems to be taking a rest after the three Star Wars sequels, in which she can be seen as Rey Palpatine Skywalker. She has not accepted any major roles anymore. So what’s true about those Spider-Woman rumors? Comic Book Movie asked the actress if we’ll see her soon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
No plans for a big movie
“Well, it’s funny because someone recently asked me about the Spider-Woman rumors, and then I said, ‘Oh, that sounds great.’ Apparently I proclaimed myself the frontrunner as Spider-Woman, which is not true, ” said Ridley. “It’s funny because I’m not looking for anything right now … I wasn’t going to make another big movie.”
The film Chaos Walking should be released in cinemas soon. Ridley already recorded that film in 2017, between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker .
