As Lady Singham, Deepika Padukone is present! Padukone offered fans to her first peek from the police universe on Sunday (15 October). In the upcoming film Singham Again, directed by Shetty, the actress will make her acting debut as Lady Singham.
In addition to revealing the name of her character, Shakti Shetty, Deepika released two posters of herself on her Instagram account.
Deepika appears boisterous in the first poster. The Chennai Express actress is apprehending the offender while donning a police costume and having a comedic expression on her face. In the following poster, which is a close-up, Deepika is shown standing with her rifle and beaming broadly.
Deepika shared the poster and wrote, ”Introducing…Shakti Shetty!”
Deepika’s cop character would be the most vicious and ruthless in his whole world, director Rohit Shetty revealed after sharing the movie’s poster.
The caption further read, “Naari Sita Ka Bhi Roop Hai Aur Durga Ka Bhi… Meet The Most Brutal And Violent Officer Of Our Cop Universe… Shakti Shetty… My Lady Singham… Deepika Padukone.”
After Chennai Express in 2013, this would be Rohit and Deepika’s second significant joint project. One among the highest-grossing films in India is the one featuring Shah Rukh Khan.

The third installment of the wildly successful cop series, which began in 2011 with the movie Singham, will be titled Singham Again. The Independence Day, August 15 release of Rohit’s film is scheduled for the next year. The film will compete alongside Pushpa 2 by Allu Arjun.
