The whole country is under the lockdown of 21 days from today because of Covid-19. There are many problems like buying daily households, crowds, and curfews. Between these all, there is also news of harassment of delivery boys.
People shared photos of beaten up delivery boys, who were on the road for doing their jobs. Samidha Sharma Tweeted-
Delivery site Milk Basket also shared a sad tweet for their customer. They told customers about stopping their services in the cities because of a sad reason. They wrote-
“On Sunday, we delivered to all our customers before 5:30 AM and Milkbasket vendors were harassed and held by authorities for ‘being on road’.”
There is also a claim that even security guards coming for their duty were beaten up by the police, but this could not be verified.
This is a very tense situation for people as well as the government. Meanwhile, we all should support each other by staying inside to stop the spread by the maximum.
