    India lost the first semi-final match against New Zealand in the world cup 2019 tournament and their dream of lifting the trophy shattered. recently, the buzz was there it was Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s last world cup as he planned to take retirement from all formats of international cricket after India’s World Cup 2019 campaign.

    The news is doing the rounds leaving many cricket fans disheartened. one of the fans is the Nightingale of Asia, the legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar. She is fond of watching cricket and Lata ji has urged former Indian skipper not to think about retirement as the country needs him at the moment. She took to Twitter to request Dhoni that India needs his play. Check out her heartfelt tweet:

    To let you know, speculation is rife that MS Dhoni is about to bid adieu to international cricket career. However, the cricketer hasn’t made any official declaration about it.

    On July 10, 2019, during the semi-final world cup match between India and New Zealand, Dhoni was spotted crying when he got run out in the 49th over of India’s chase. Seeing him out, vice-captain of Indian team Rohit Sharma was also seen breaking into tears.
