Kartik Aaryan who appeared in back-to-back romantic films is all set to surprise the audience. As he will now be seen in a thriller named Dhamaka. Today the Love Aaj Kal actor is also celebrating his 30th birthday and on this occasion, he announced the film by releasing the first look motion poster of Dhamaka. Giving a glimpse of the poster he wrote “Aaj mera Birthday hai #DHAMAKA hona chahiye” The motion poster features the “Love Aaj Kal” actor – dressed in a blue suit, with long hairs and spectacles. The poster shows him looking towards a burning Bandra-Worli Sea Link bridge from a window. Kartik has surely made has fans surprised as it features Kartik in a never seen before avatar.
About the film:”Dhamaka” is backed by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Films, it is his first collaboration between Aaryan and Madhvani, In the film, Aaryan will play a journalist who covers the live broadcast of a terror attack in Mumbai. Aryan’s recent project “Dhamaka” gives a bird’s eye view into the workings of a news channel in the 21st Century. The film is helmed by Ram Madhvani who also came up with Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja and Sushmita Sen starrer web series Aarya fame. Talking about the release date of the film let us tell you that the film is expected to go on floors next month in December expected to go on floors next month. Well, not only this but apart from Dhamaka, Kartik will also be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2.

Putting his opinion about the film Kartik said “This for me is a miracle script and had me on the edge of my seat all through the narration. I knew this is the script that would give me the opportunity to explore a different side of me as an actor. “I can’t wait to transport myself to Ram sir’s world and see his vision translate on the big screen. This is also the first time I am collaborating with Ronnie and RSVP, and I am looking forward to this journey,”
Earlier this year, it was announced that Kartik will be starring in an action film helmed by director Om Raut. However, the movie was later pushed for reasons unknown and Om Raut announced a magnum opus Aadipurush starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan. On the other hand, reports of Kartik Aaryan starring a thriller helmed by Ram Madhvani was also doing the rounds. And now the film has been announced. it is for the first time that Kartik will be seen starring in a thriller in his 9-year-old career.
